Project Overview

Shutar Shawpno is a full-featured multi-vendor e-commerce platform built with Laravel. It brings customers, independent vendors, delivery personnel, and marketplace administrators together in one system. Vendors can operate their own storefronts and manage products, stock, promotions, and orders, while administrators retain centralized control over marketplace operations, finance, reporting, and configuration.

The platform combines a responsive fashion storefront with dedicated admin and vendor dashboards, REST APIs, configurable payment methods, and automated commerce workflows. Its modular, role-based architecture makes the application maintainable and suitable for a growing online marketplace.

The Challenge

A multi-vendor marketplace must coordinate more than a standard online store. It needs to separate vendor data and responsibilities, maintain accurate inventory, split and track orders by seller, support different shipping and payment methods, calculate marketplace earnings, and still provide customers with a simple checkout experience.

Shutar Shawpno addresses these requirements through dedicated operational areas for each user role and centralized business rules for catalog, order, payment, delivery, and financial management.

My Work on the Project

Technical Architecture

The backend follows Laravel's MVC structure with service, repository, job, event, middleware, and resource layers used across the application. Separate route groups and controllers serve the storefront, administration panel, vendor portal, payment callbacks, and versioned REST APIs. Background jobs support operational tasks such as inventory synchronization, while configurable caching and external storage help prepare the platform for production workloads.

Authentication and middleware enforce role-specific access for administrators, vendors, customers, employees, and delivery personnel. Payment configuration is managed centrally, allowing payment methods to be enabled or disabled according to business needs.

Outcome

The completed platform supports the full e-commerce lifecycle—from catalog and inventory management to checkout, payment, fulfillment, reporting, returns, and refunds. Its configurable integrations and clearly separated operational roles provide a strong foundation for continued marketplace growth and future feature development.
